How
do I play the videos and MP3's?
Depends
on the format. Our newer videos are Flash Video format, and they will
open up in a new window and start playing after you click on them. You
need to have Javascript enabled in your browser for the popups to work.
The other Windows Media and Real Video files can be downloaded to your
hard drive and played from there.
How
do I download the video and MP3 files?
One good way for Internet Explorer users to download files is to point
to the download link with your mouse, then right-click on the link.
Choose the option Save Target As. After the file information is retrieved,
you will have a choice of Opening the File or Saving it to Disk. Choose
the Save-to-Disk option, and make sure you remember where you save the
file! Now the file will download which may take some time depending
on your connection speed. Then, if you have RealPlayer installed on
your system, simply double-click on the downloaded file to play it.
(Note: sometimes, if the server is busy, the file information will not
be retrieved. You will have to try again later.)
How
do I play the videos after I download them?
Some of
our files are RealVideo ( .RM file extensions) and some are Windows
Media ( .WMV file extensions). You need RealPlayer to play the RealVideo
and Windows Media Player to play the Windows Media files. If you have
these players installed on your system, simply double-click on the file
you downloaded to play it.
How do I install Real Player on my system?
Just left-click on
this link to download the free RealPlayer. This takes you to a page
where you can choose to download the free RealPlayer. After clicking
on the Free RealPlayer link, all the following steps should be simple
to follow. This is a very handy player to have installed.
The only version of RealPlayer I can find costs
$29.95. How can I find the free version?
The free version link is on this
page. RealNetworks wants you to buy the $29.95 version, so every
page has the free version pretty well disguised. IT DEFINITELY IS THERE,
SO DON"T GIVE UP!!! If you still have problems, send us an email.
How
do I install the Windows Media Player on my system?
You need to go to the Microsoft
site to download it. The link keeps changing, so you'll have to search
for it. Windows Update can also be used.
